Art Morris came into the music scene at the young age of 77 years old. That’s right, 77! You are never too old to follow your dream, and Art is living proof of that. He hit the scene with his first release December 2020 after an accident kept him from doing many of the activities he loved. With the motivation from his girlfriend, he decided to use that time to follow a life-long passion of his, music. In just two years, he has received over 1 million streams, has been featured in JAZZIZ magazine, been rockin the top 20 charts Smoothjazz.com and has been building a fan base he never imagined—not to mention having Jazz Sax heartthrob Midi Abair and 80’s pop sensation Tiffany featured on a track. Since coming out on the scene, he has recieved over 1 million streams on Spotify and YouTube
Art teamed up with rock producer Brad Cox (Slash, T-Pain, Krizz Kaliko, Moonsine Bandits), who is known for working with legendary rock and metal producer Mike Clink (Guns n Roses, Metallica). Art wanted a fresh and exciting new twist on jazz standards and the songs he grew up with. So, with endless voice lessons with Atlanta vocal coach, Eva Lukkonen Sullivan, and this new connection with Brad Cox, he was ready to show the world what he could do.
After all the recent success, Art is ready to take things to the next level. Adding more vibrancy to song selections and releasing new original music in 2023. Art is ready to tell the world his story and show that you’re never too old to follow dreams.
